STICKS EXTRUDER/COEXTRUDER

The machine is made to extrude medium – high dough consistency through an extrusion head and to deposit the sticks on the wire mesh.
The extruder /co-extruder consists of two shoulders of big thickness in painted steel joined through robust cross bars. Inside the structure are housed a grooved roller in steel and a hopper for dough collection. The hopper is formed by a structure in steel, coated of food grade plastic and two transversal steel sheets.
In the lower part of the roller, in inclined position, is fixed the cross bar in steel material with attached draw-plate and the interchangeable nozzles.
The size of the pressure chamber and of the nozzles, with their special shape, assure a balanced pressure distribution over all the width of the machine and consequently a uniform final product.
The extrusion head is completely removable for cleaning operation, or for its substitution with other product shapes.
The dough is transferred to the extrusion zone where a grooved rolled of large diameter push the dough to a pressure chamber and to the extrusion nozzles.
The special shape of the compression system, a result of the VB experience, allows to have a very smooth action, that means the better product quality.
The dough feeding system is driven by motors governed by inverters which are necessary for varying the extrusion speed in function of the line speed.
The extrusion unit (the draw-plate and nozzles) for the sticks may be changed in order to insert the co-extrusion unit for filled sticks.

Tank for the filling material and pipes can be jacketed with water heating system (optional).
The feeding system of filling material for co-extruded sticks can be lobi or eccentric screw type of pump it depends specifically of the filling material.
The tank is made of stainless steel AISI 304 and has capacity 200 lt.
The tank is mounted on a steel frame which housed the pumping unit and the transmission groups.
Supplying includes stainless steel pipes, connections between the tank and the extruder.
The pumping unit and the stirrer have electric control through proper selectors on the machine control board.
