The machine gauges the dough-sheet coming from previous handling by two smooth rolls made of centrifuged cast iron, with very hardened surface, and equipped with scrapers for cleaning and detaching.
The carbon steel free-standing structure consists of 30 mm thick side frames and is mounted on feed adjustable in height. The calibrating rollers have 320mm diameter and the upper one is provided with side dough containing flanges made of food-grade plastic material.
The adjustment of dough sheet thickness is obtained by means of mechanic jack acting on the lower roller, provided with position read-out on hand-wheel complete with gravitational indicator. Product conveying belt is made of material complying with FDA rules. The speed of this belt has independent adjustment in order to ensure the removal of the dough sheet inner tensions. The driving roller can be easily dismounted for cleaning or replacement.
Both rollers are provided of stainless steel cleaning scrapers; their position is fixed but their pressure is adjustable by means of knobs.
The machine is equipped with protection side panelling with removable door; the front protection is fixed whilst the rear one is hinged, has safety micro-switch and can be open to allow roller inspection.
Machine speed is controlled from Lamination Line electric panel; the machine houses a control panel for fine adjustments of speed -manually operated (this machine) or automatically operated (speed of this machine and of down-line machine).
